Now that is marketing at it's best! Simply change the shoes and watch the transormaiton!!! Reebok has an amazing marketing department!!!

I however wish it was that simple, and only costing $110. ? but as Lauren's stated...if that's what motivates you then ...... the shoes, the "magic pill", the creams...so many items to buy out there yet getting in shape still reamains, going to the gym for a period of time and working your butt off...literally...and over time with changes with food, you see results...

Marketing departments can't quite figure out how to sell the conscept that only you can do it with hard work!!!!

An ad that 'dumbs it down' does not a happy child make. Could I see these ads running on Comedy Central? Yes. Does that mean these ads are any more effective then if it was made a tad more tactfully? No. Crass does not equal class -though commercials these days will readily go lowbrow in order to "relate to its consumer".

In the film 'What Women Want,' an advertising agency's grail project was to vie for this one's company's latest shoe campaign. The company opts for an ad celebrating the female runner's feelings set to calm music -showing the viewer glimpses of the great outdoors. As result, you in turn felt a sense of calm from bearing witness. Would love to see a comeback to those kinds of ads..the ones that leave us feeling empowered for the commercial investments we make. Stop pandering Reebok. Just because you're marketing to gym rats doesn't mean you have to talk to us like a couple of dumbbells!

Oh brother! It is a shame the way some things are marketed. But you are right again, if when purchased you are motivated to exercise and not just wear them to the supermarket, then good things will come. I have seen another brand of gym shoes that makes the claim that you are working more major muscles groups than other gym shoes..and I have seen people wearing them to work. I am sure they are more comfortable than heels.
