Yes Janice, we both made discoveries... when the conditions are right you can better succeed. It is important to set up a success only environment.

Also regarding the shoes, you don't always realize how worn out they are until you replace them. It is definitely something to keep track of.

My second time out with Lauren did not go as well as the first even though I did make it through the five up and downs. I realize the reasons for this. I was still sore from the time before because my shoes are too old and worn out. I overslept and rushed to get ready and ate too close to the time of the work out and running. I felt full and sluggish. Finally, I forgot a water bottle. So, all this will be remedied for the next time, Tuesday. I will get up 30 minutes earlier, I will take water and I bought new running shoes. Preparation is very important to successful healthy living.

Great Job Terry, you ARE off to a good start. Keep up with the rotator cuff PT, it may seem slow-going and boring, but like anything the consistency of doing it will pay off.

Well, I'm off to a good start at least. Made my 3 Jazzercise sessions for the week. Yea! I am really motivated to get back in shape and stay that way. Need it for mental and emotional health as much as for the physical side. As a side note, I injured my rotator cuff several months ago (just found out that this is why my shoulder kept hurting). The doctor has ordered PT which I plan to start next week. However, I have already seen great improvement this week just from the Jazz. routines. Another big incentive to keep with the program!
