I started working with Lauren about 4 years ago. I went to her because my health was failing and my Mother's health was on the worst decline I had ever experienced. If, I had not taken the route to get a personal trainer recommended by my physician and be lucky to have met Lauren, I probably would have been taking prescriptions to manage all the challenges that started hitting me in the face and turning life as I knew it upside down. I had met personal trainers in the past and was totally turned off and basically failed getting anywhere with the experience. As my training progressed and the kind words of support from Lauren kept coming, I got stronger and have managed better with my Mother as well. I also began to really have my eyes opened when I saw what I could be like in the years to come if I had decided not to do anything to help my body and mind stay strong. I started to see that my Mother could of chosen to do some things differently that would of made the quality of her life so much better for herself now. I see my Mother almost daily and talk to her daily and watching her health decline and give up has been the hardest life lesson to date. I know now I must do everything in my power to be healthy. I am in the best health that I have been in over 20 years. My physician tells me to continue the awesome choices I have made. It is hard still to believe because I was a certain way for so long. The best thing I have ever done for myself is to take full responsibility and care for myself. I have been fortunate to make this my priority and have benefited in more ways that I can say. My goal now will always be proactive. And to top it off I have passed this life lesson to my Daughter, who is now making her lifestyle a healthier one as well. Lauren continues and will always be a part of my support system because she is doing what she loves and that is to help. I know that for a fact. She gave me the tools I needed to get me going and keep going. There is still so much to learn and I know she is the best there is and I am grateful she will always be there for me in the future.
Thank you!

My father recently celebrated his 89th birthday. He bugged me to make him a big party and so I did. We invited 50 people from his 'retirement center' and about 40 showed up. He was far from the eldest on the guest list, many were in their 90's. Frankly, I was nervous about how to make sure that the party was enjoyable so I brought music but no one could hear it any way! What I learned from this experience is that his guests were happy to be invited, happy to have birthday cake and wine and they did not need entertainment. One of the guests, a 94 year old, made a toast. He said that when he was growing up he did not know anyone older than 70. He thanked G-d for medical improvements that have allowed him to live and complimented my father on is committment to walking and physical activity and wished him many more years. My father is using his savings to pay for a physical trainer who comes 3-4X per week to ensure that he retains his ability to walk, bend, etc. and hopefully he will fend off the use of walkers, scooters and wheelchairs for a few more years. He often comments that he should have started with his training when he was younger. So there you go Lauren, a perfect case for your services! I am glad to have Lauren in my life helping me improve my 54 year old body. With her help I have lost 28 pounds, have built muscle and tone and i am feeling energetic and healthy. It's a continuous and slow process but it works!
