What Are You Looking For?

I wanted to take a minute to ask for your feedback. I am getting

ready to do a teleseminar with a prominent leader in the fitness

industry and I wanted to structure the content of the call in a way

that would most benefit you.

Would you be willing to share with me what some of your biggest

struggles are and what it is you really want to achieve?

What level of health are you after… your fitness, your nutrition,

or your mindset? Is it weight loss? Is it your confidence,

happiness, stress, time, etc? What is keeping you up at night?

I would love to hear from you so I can continue to provide content

that is both powerful and useful to you, and create an awesome

teleseminar program for you at the same time.

Use the form on the blog to submit your comment, and thank

you for your help!

Be well,

Lauren

I’m looking forward to your teleseminar Lauren.

Over the years, the biggest roadblock for me has been the tendency to get offtrack under pressure: especially eating under stress. And that’s despite knowing all sorts of stress reducing techniques!!

Any tips on making it easier to reduce the appeal of comforting ourselves with food would be useful to me and anyone.

Yay Helene! Thanks for stepping in there and being first.

    What’s up with that anyway?!
Why DO we eat when we are not necessarily hungry… and worse, the food never really solves the stress… it just makes us feel guilty, hence, more stress!!

I know you’re not alone with this one.

    Great question!

    Hi Lauren,
This is so exciting and I’d love to listen in on your teleseminar! My question is, “What are some easy ways to get off the snacking that goes on when I work at home?” It happens mostly when I’m confused about a process or when I’m procrastinating tackling a difficult problem.

Hi Delores, great to hear from you! Hmmmmm….. there seems to be a theme going on here…. emotional eating!
    Thanks for sharing.

I am good about recording my food Sunday through Thursday but come Friday and Saturday (Shabbat) I can not record and I really do not want the regimentation. 2 bad days is throwing off my weight loss.

Also, everyone talks about emotional eating. How about eating just because you are hungry and once you start its hard to stop!

    Hi Janice,
You touched on two common sabotaging behaviors , the first is how can your wellness goals align with your lifestyle, and second, mindless eating.
I hear you! Thanks for sharing!

My goals are to continue to find ways to keep in check and balance good health and well being as a first priority, regardless of what is going on around me and not feel guilty. To be in my best fitness shape and avoid injury, so that as i age my body will support all that i want to be able to do in life. I want to be as independent, strong and healthy for as many years as possible. Taking this time to change what i can makes me proud and happy because of the reality and changes to my health and spirit. I would like to stay on this path throughout my life. Something i really did not know or understand fully how it was possible for me or experience before until my late 40’s. Now i understand as i watch my Mother age, the importance and reason for it all. It’s worth all the work you need to do and that it helps make it more fun to be alive! Teach me more!

It sounds like you have the right mindset Bina, and it is your positive thinking that is leading you to positive action!
    Thanks for inspiring us all!

    Hi Lauren,

My problem seems to be very confusing. Since October, I have been eating a very clean diet. There really hasn’t been any cheating due to being on a mission to lose weight. The issue here is that the scale is going up instead of down. My bloodwork shows that I am doing everything right, but the scale is freaking me out. I have been running from doctor to doctor to see if there is something wrong with me, but they said all is fine! I am at my wits end with all of this!

That is frustrating Jackie! Especially getting no insight from the doctors. But it is comforting to know you don’t have a problem!

Without knowing you and a lot of details, it’s hard for me to take a look what may be going on.

It could be a lot of things… from not getting enough calories which can put your body in starvation mode and make it actually start storing fat… or maybe it’s the exercise part of the energy balance equation.

Since you haven’t taken advantage of your free 30 minute strategy session… http://bestbodymakeover.com/strategy.html …you might want to ;-)
